This backdrop can be used alone or used in a gazebo type set up. We started with solid white drapes and used a double drape hanger box to layer the white voile drapes in front. Instead of a traditional pull back for the sheer drapes we crossed them over and secured them evenly at the bottom of the poles with white zip ties. To help camouflage the ties we added a voile drape on each upright pole securing them with rubber bands.
Here is a helpful tip - don't be afraid to use unconventional items to help get your drapes to do what you want. Binder clips will help hold drapes together without creating holes or snags like pins will. Need to secure a drape to the pole but not sure how to keep the pleated swag you have created? Try a zip tie - it will help hold the pleating in place and attach it to a pole to create the look you want without damaging the drapes. Wanting to create a poof but not sure how? Try using a rubber band, simply hold the drape about 12" down from the top, fold it over itself and secure with a rubber band. Fluff to the desired shape and use part of the rubber band to secure to the top of the upright pole.
