Blush and Ivory Arch

We have noticed that quite a few of the brides we meet with are loving the color blush.  We are seeing a rise in blush linens, blush backdrops, blush chair ties, blush accents.  To keep up with this trend we decorated one of our chrome arches using a soft blush linen and ivory voile sheers.

We started with a 90"x156" blush bengaline linen folded in half and draped over the top of the arch.  To create the gathered look we used a larger rubber band in the middle and down the sides, gathering as we went.  Once everything was gathered and rubber banded we tucked those "tails" into the swirl design of the arch top and played with and fluffed as needed to create a look we were happy with.  The legs are covered in a 10' ivory voile drape, loosely gathered and draped through the leg opening and pooled at the bottom.

Adding fabric to an arch can change the look completely, it also allows you to be as fancy as you want it to be.

What do you think of our draped arch - let us know in the comments below :)
