Oriental Napkin Fold

This napkin fold is another easy fold to create, yet it will add a nice touch to your table.

Start with a flat napkin.

Fold in half  to create a tall rectangle.

Accordion fold the bottom end until you have gone slightly past the middle of the napkin.

Fold the napkin in half keeping the pleats on the outside of the napkin.

With the open end up fold the corner with the loose points down behind the accordion pleating to create a triangular shape.

Fold the small rectangular area under the napkin.

Hold the napkin upright by the top of the pleated section keeping the rectangular part flat on the table and gently release the pleats.
