This is a pretty easy napkin fold to create, it looks a little harder than it truly is. It is great for an informal setting where you would like a little whimsy on your table.
Start with a flat napkin. |
Fold in half to create a rectangle. |
Fold the upper corner down at the midway point. |
Fold the lower corner up at the midway point. It should look like 2 triangles side by side. |
Carefully turn it over, all folds should be on the bottom and will look like a trapezoid. |
Fold downward in half leaving a small triangle on the upper left. |
Pull the point out from underneath the napkin to create a long point facing down. |
Fold the left corner towards the center dividing the left triangle in half. |
Fold the long triangle up to create a peak. It should be the same height as the small triangle on the left. |
Fold the right side of the napkin in half, creating a half triangle to match the left side. Carefully turn the napkin over. |
Tuck the left corner into the pocket on the right. You can either lay this napkin flat or stand it up. |
